When making changes to the website, there is one final step required to ensure that all users can see them correctly.

What happens?

While you are logged into the platform, you will see the changes immediately.

However, users who are not logged in may still see an older version of the website because of the cache.

Solution: clear the cache

Once you have finished making changes, click the following button:

Delete Cache

This will:

  • Clear the stored cache.
  • Properly update the website.
  • Make the changes visible to all users.

Important

If the Delete Cache button is not clicked:

  • You will continue seeing the updated version.
  • Visitors to the website may still see the old version.

For this reason, always remember to complete this step after finishing any changes on the website.
